You know what, when I procrastinate at uni in the library, I don’t actually go on tumblr or facebook, or whatever… I actually go on Amnesty International site and read updates about world issues, human rights issues. I don’t know, one of my dream goals for the future is to help contribute to something “UN” big. I’m fortunate enough to be able to join some campus groups which participate in human rights activism.
On a side note, I’m really confused as to what path I want to take after I finish my double degree in Psychology and Social Work. Do I want to start work straight away in the social work field, gain experience, then come back a few years later and finish my honours in Psychology so I can be a credited Psychologist? Or do I just work straight through Uni and finish my honours straight away? Which means that I don’t have as much experience in the working field… hmmm
Side side note, I don’t know if I want to work as a child protection officer now… After taking a unit about child and families, and hearing stories about some scenarios I might face, I fear that I’m going to burn out too quickly and that my interest in the field will be jeopardized..
Yeah, anyway just a little thought I had to get off my chest about my future… no pressure.
Ps. Can’t believe i’ll be a third year uni student next year… time flies, It’s been exactly 2 years since i graduated high school (as a new batch just graduated today)
